The unforgettable surprise birthday celebration of well-loved Prof. Nelia Cruz-Sarcol was given to her by her closest friends at the Manila House.
She founded the CIE British School in Cebu 35 years ago and is the president and CEO. Over the years, the school expanded in Makati and Tacloban, Leyte and became known as the school for leaders. It is described as a center of excellence that develops creative people who are imbued and equipped with outstanding academic skills, innovative thinking, a pioneering spirit, an entrepreneurial mindset and strength of character. These qualities are needed to make a lasting contribution to improve the quality of life as enlightened generative leaders and channels in social transformation.
Nelia came radiantly beautiful in her Ronaldo Arnaldo floral gown. All of her guests also came in their beautiful floral attire. Nelia is also a philanthropist. On the morning of her birthday, a new house had started to be built for a homeless family in Tanauan, Batangas. This is a project with her friends who have been inspired by Nelia’s efforts in helping disadvantaged people so that they can lead better lives.
